Join us for a special afternoon reception & interview featuring pre-eminent traditional garden designer Craig Bergmann on his newest publication, “The Art of Fine Gardening.” Book signing will be available before and following the interview portion of the event. For more than four decades, Craig Bergmann has been recognized for intertwining design, horticulture, and architecture, establishing a true dialogue between the garden and the architectural site. The Art of Fine Gardening features twenty gardens that span his career and are located in the North Shore of Chicago. Featuring stunning garden images by noted photographer Scott Shigley and texts written by Bergmann, the book describes all the gardens in his own voice—a voice of true experience—offering anecdotes and practical tips to gardeners. Pre-purchased books through registration are listed at $50. Purchasing books on-site the day of this event will cost $60.
