2025 marks the 200th birthday of Lake Forest founding father, J.V. Farwell. Farwell rose from humble beginnings as a farm boy to become a merchandising magnate, the original “Merchant Prince.” Presenter Jim Phelps will detail how Farwell and his family helped to shape the City of Lake Forest, the City of Chicago, and, literally, the American West.
