Each year, the History Center presents a new Local Legend, honoring someone who has contributed significantly to our community and the world. This year we are proud to celebrate Joanna Rolek as our 2025 award recipient, marking our sixteenth Local Legend! Please join us on Sunday, September 14th at 4:00 pm to honor Joanna's dedication to this community. Joanna will be interviewed by friend and colleague, David Sweet. The setting is an intimate interview that encourages the sharing of little-known stories, behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and insights missing from standard biographies. An exclusive Patron Sponsor cocktail party will be held at Le Colonial on Thursday, September 11th at 5:30 pm. Details will be sent out to all sponsors as we get closer to the event.
