This is a co-sponsored event in partnership with Lake Forest Open Lands Following the success of our spring nature walk, we're excited to offer the autumn counterpart this October once again with the great folks at Lake Forest Open Lands! Join us for a scenic trek through the Jean and John Greene Nature Preserve and witness firsthand the unique geological features that set the Lake County coastal zone apart from the neighboring areas along Lake Michigan. The group will journey across the tablelands, hike down the ravine leading to the lakefront, and then traverse the magnificent Deromedi suspension bridge in this wondrous, 90-minute hike.
